I'm an archaeologist, a writer, an educator, and have worked in heritage and conservation caring for the past and helping to insure its and our future.

For the past 20 years I've been studying finger flutings -- lines people drew on the walls of caves during the Ice Age and through that work have uncovered the stories of people's intimate moments and lives captured in the soft surfaces of the cave walls.
